阅读考情分析：
1. 新旧题：
本场考试为2旧1新的搭配，因此1月份的考试主要还是以旧题为主。
2. 题材：
本场考试的文章题材为两篇文科类文章以及一篇理科类自然科学类的文章。1月份相对来说历史发展类与人物传记类的文章的比较少考察，因此之后考试的学生要适当地注意。
3. 题型题量：
本月的最后一场考试，判断题占据绝对主导，一共考察15题。Passage 1依旧是判断+填空的组合，因此1月四场考试的Passage 1均为该两种题型的搭配，这个应该是2018年的一个趋势。Passage 2依旧是配对题为主，正是考察本月此前没有考察的List of Headings题型，保持着2017年每月考察1-2次的规律。Passage 3依旧与上一场考试的题型一致，都是选词填空，选择与判断，此三类题型的组合已在一月份中出现三次。尤其是选词填空，该题型2017年考察不多，但2018年有增加的趋势，同学们要做此类题型的准备。
4.特别注意：
1月份考试已经结束，总体来说考察规律比较一致。准备2月份考试的考生要多注意练习判断+填空组合的处理（参考剑11 Test 1 Passage 1 & 2。Passage 2着重匹配题型的练习，特别是段落匹配和特殊次匹配。选词填空和选择题有增加的趋势，加大了考试难度，同学们也应该注意练习一篇文章中多种细节题组合的定位方法（参考剑9 Test 2 Passage 3）。

Advertising can be seen everywhere in our daily life. It influences what people think is important and has negative effects. To what extent do you agree or disagree?
参考范文：
Advertising has been a pervasive feature of modern life for decades now. It is impossible to walk down the street, visit a website or use social media without encountering some form of advertising. Arguments abound about whether this is a good thing or a bad thing. I believe there are both positive and negative aspects to this trend.
Firstly, advertising is essential for businesses to sell products and grow their customer bases. Without the freedom to promote their goods or services, businesses would grow at a far slower rate, and this would have negative repercussions for the economy as a whole. It is therefore vital for the health of the global economy that businesses are able to reach as wide a target market as possible.
However, some elements of advertising go too far in their attempts to increase profits for business. Vulnerable audiences such as children may be susceptible to buying products that have a malign influence on them, such as sweets and sugary drinks. Additionally, many companies distribute adverts with misleading claims about the effectiveness of certain products. Regulations now exist to counter this sort of problem, but it still persists and stronger efforts are required.
On the whole, while it is important to recognise the importance of advertising and promotion for the growth of individual companies and the economy, it is also necessary to recognise that there is a caveat to certain types of advertising. So long as there are enforced rules about the kinds of campaigns advertisers promote, advertising should maintain a fundamental part of the commercial economy.
